Football CCS Championship Game

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow (Saturday December 2) the Leland Varsity Football team plays for the CCS Division 4 Championship!  The last time Leland won a CCS title in football was 1999 so this is a pretty big deal for our football program.  I hope that some of you will be able to come out and support our team. Welcome to High School!

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year and you first year of high school!  And welcome to World Cultures and Geography!  One thing you will learn about me very quickly is that I passionately love History!  I have loved the topic of history for my entire life.  It is my earnest desire that you will approach  this class with a sincere intent to learn and improve as a student and citizen.  You may not personally love history, but while you are here I expect you to treat it with respect!  The only thing I love more in my life than history is my wife.  I have a lot of other interests such as comic books, board games, movies, TV shows, sports (especially football!).  I have a pretty wide comic collection in my classroom that you are free to peruse whenever you have a free moment and even borrow if you ask.  I also have a small collection of board games that you are free to try during tutorial or another open time period.  If you ever have any questions or need any help just ask, I am always available to help out those who seek it.  I am very excited to be working with you all this school year!
