February 28

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be working on the ability to skim and scan in order to make reading easier.  We will then begin reading an excerpt from the book, Guns, Germs, and Steel.  This book does an excellent job of examining the reasons for colonization and imperialism in history starting with Columbus in 1492.  It presents a very interesting theory on why Europe came to dominate the world.  This should be fun!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

  2. My tutorial will be closed Friday
    1. If you need to see me or be in my room come Thursday
  3. Due to the SAT my tutorial is closed on Wednesday this week!
That's all for today ladies and gentlemen!  We will continue reading and discussing Guns, Germs, and Steel on Thursday.  We will also be watching an episode from a documentary based on the book on Thursday.  Fun times!  I look forward to seeing you all again soon!  Take care and have a great evening!
