Breaking Down the Walls is formed to bring unity on campus.  Leland is doing a 5 day program consisting of a motivational speaker on Monday 1/22, and day long workshops 1/23-1/26.  Breaking Down the Walls gives all students, regardless of their peer group, permission to talk to each other.  This program teaches students to understand that they are not alone by bringing to light the notion that other students share the same concerns, questions, and experiences they do.  We are looking for students from ALL grades and groups.  Participation in workshops requires you to miss class for the full day, but is a 100% EXCUSED ABSENCE.

Welcome Back!

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I hope that you have had a restful break!  I had a pretty good break, I went to Disneyland for that first week we had off!  It was a lot of fun and it wasn't too crowded which was nice!  Other than that I mostly just cleaned the house, took naps, and tried to see some friends.  It was great being able to spend time with my wife and not having to worry about working on anything in particular.  It was much needed!  I got a Nintendo Switch, was a lot of fun and distraction for a few days, 😀 playing Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda.  I don't get to play video games often so it was a nice change of pace.

I hope that all of you were able to have fun and rest over the break.  I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again soon!  I missed you all so much!  Enjoy your last day before we start (Monday) and I will see you tomorrow!

Live long and prosper,

Mr. Marchetti
