October 12 - Review Map Making and Start Court Cartographer Project

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be reviewing the history of map making and then starting our Court Cartographer Project.  I am very excited as the Court Cartographer project is one of my other favorite projects for the year.  It is very much a creative endeavor so you will need to put on your Creative Thinking caps! 😉  We are at the end of the week so I hope that you are all doing well and ready for the weekend!  Huzzah!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Discuss a history of map making with an emphasis on answering questions related to the content
  2. Read and annotate a unique story from a fictional explorer and create a map based on the information provided
