October 23 - Introduce the Columbian Exchange

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I'm back!  I did miss you all while I was gone but I had a ton of fun!  Hopefully you were all able to finish and submit your Court Cartographer Projects as well as successfully take the test on Friday!  Now let's get started on our new unit!  Today in class we will be watching a video on the Columbian Exchange, discussing it, and then reading about it.  This is our first real major historical content unit and I am so excited to talk about history!  Woohoo!  Let's get started!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objective:
  1. Analyze a text about the Columbian Exchange with the use of annotation and completion of a graphic organizer
Agenda:

  2. Readings: Columbian Exchange
    1. Pre-Reading Alfred Crosby
    2. Full Annotations
Homework:

That's all for the day ladies and gentlemen!  I am happy to be back!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  Have a great evening!  Take care!

Live long and prosper,

Mr. Marchetti
