Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be finishing the Guns, Germs, and Steel reading and briefly discussing it.  After we finish the reading we will be watching episode 3 of the documentary based on Guns, Germs, and Steel.  Make sure that you follow all the directions before you turn in your assignments!  Hope you are enjoying this foray into the history of colonialism!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:

1. Skim and scan a college level text to better understand the theories of Jared Diamond
2. Describe the impacts of geographic luck and its modern day impact on the continent of Africa

Agenda:

1. Finish: Prologue of Guns, Germs, and Steel
2. HTC #6
3. Start: GGS Episode 3

Homework:

1. Submit Readings to Google Classroom
2. Africa Map Test on March 20
3. Remember that my tutorial is closed tomorrow (Friday)
