February 11 & 12 - Population Infographics

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see all you amazing people!  Today in class we will continue learning and practicing about Active Listening and then you will continue to have time to work on your Population Infographics!  Should be a fun and invigorating day!  We are so close to the week off!  Let's get to it!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Create Population Infographics using individually assigned national data
Agenda:

  2. Population Infographic
    1. Infographic Checklist (Everything on this list must be on your inforgraphic if you want full credit)
    2. Infographic Creation Websites (recommended you check them all out and see which ones you like the best.  Some are easier to use than others.)
  3. HTC #6
    1. Canva - Need to create an account (its free) and it is pretty easy to use
      1. Venngage - Same as above (free but need to sign up and create an account, pretty easy to use)
        1. Piktochart - Same as above
          1. Visme - Sam as above
          Homework:
          1. Current Event #6 due February24 (Event from Africa)
            1. Current Event Mapping Instructions
              1. Add CE #6 to the same map you did CE #1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
          2. Infographics due Block 2 to Google Classroom
            1. Thursday for 5 Period
            2. Friday for 0, 2 and 4 Period
          3. Europe Map test Block 2 This Week!
            1. Thursday for 0 and 5 Period
            2. Friday for 2 and 4 Period
            1. Europe Countries Quiz (Test prep)
