January 28 & 29 - Introduce Population Unit

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see all you beautiful people!  Today in class we will be taking our first look at the study of populations and demographics.  This is a pretty interesting unit and especially relevant in the world we live in today.  I hope that everyone is doing well and ready to go for another great day together!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Be able to define basic population vocabulary words and determine the trajectory of exponential growth over the past 2000 years
  2. Discuss and read about the issues of population increase and potential ways to solve the crisis

Homework:
  1. Finish and turn in "The People Connection" to Google Classroom
  2. Current Event #4 due Monday
    1. Current Event Mapping Instructions
      1. Add CE #4 to the same map you did CE #1, 2 and 3
  3. Europe Map test February 10
    1. Europe Countries Quiz (Test prep)
