December 3 & 4 - State Governor and Start Ideal Society

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see all you amazing people!  Today in class we will be doing a couple of things.  First we will continue to look at California's State government.  We will specifically be looking at the State Executive Branch (the Governor).  We will be reading and taking a look at some of the specific powers and whatnot of the governor.  After that we will be starting a little group project that we will be doing over the next few class days.  Should be an interesting and maybe even fun way to wrap up the semester!  Let's get to it!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Explore and analyze the role and powers of the State Executive Branch
  2. Show mastery of government/economic systems by creating your own ideal society
Agenda:
  1. HT #24
  2. State Executive Branch
    1. Reading and Questions
  3. Ideal Society mini project

That's all for the day folks!  I hope that you have enjoyed learning about our state government!  Take care and have a great rest of your day!
