March 5 - Age of Imperialism Notes and Finish GGS Reading

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome and great to see you amazing people!  Today in class we will be taking notes on the Age of Imperialism and then you will have any leftover time to work on your GGS reading and annotation.  This is a fairly complex document and it behooves you to spend the time and effort to get it done right!  Let's get down to business!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:

1. Analyze the cause and effect of the Age of Imperialism, paying particular attention to its impact on Africa
2. Skim and scan a college level text to better understand the theories of Jared Diamond
