January 17

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be starting a quick look at the geography of California.  We will be doing this slightly out of order because on Thursday I will be gone!  It is the first time this semester I have another pull out day for professional development training.  I would MUCH rather be here with you, especially since this is messing with our schedule a little bit.  So today we will start our major project regarding California's Geography.  Hopefully you enjoy looking more in depth into the great state we live in!  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:
  1. Research and map the directions to points of interest in California with the use of Google Maps
Agenda:
  1. History Today #3
  2. Google Maps Instruction
  3. California's Gold
    1. A look into California's regions
      1. California Regions Map
      2. Weird California website
Homework:
  1. There will be a substitute teacher on Thursday!  Be on your best behavior and get that work done!  I'll be at yet another training so I wish I was with you!
  2. Submit California's Gold Project (Maybe?)

That's all for today ladies and gentlemen!  I won't be seeing you again until next week!  Weird right?  I don't like it.  I look forward to seeing you all again!  Make sure to stay on top of things and get your work done!  Wish I could be there with you on Thursday!  Take care everyone!

Live long and prosper,

Mr. Marchetti
