We are nearing the end of the semester and we still have a few items to cover. This week we will be practicing an important educational skill that you will likely use throughout your academic career. Today we are starting a discussion about research. This is something that you are always expected to do in English, Science, and History but you may not have the skills to do it. Hopefully by completing this Mini-Unit with me, you will enhance your knowledge and be a better researcher! Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.
Objectives:
- Investigate the skills necessary to conduct proper academic research
- Practice research skills such as locating and evaluating primary, secondary, and tertiary sources
- History Today
- Discuss: Research Practices
- Types of Sources
