"Are you a writer, artist, or photographer? Do you want your work to be featured in Leland’s award-winning school newspaper? Leland Journalism is now accepting applications from freshmen, sophomores and juniors who wish to apply as staff writers, photographers, and artists. Journalism is a fantastic way to showcase your talents while also spreading awareness about local and international events. If you are interested, pick up an application in J-5 or print out the attached application below! The application must be turned into J-5 by Friday, April 22. Make sure that your English teacher turns in your letter of recommendation form to Ms. Kelley personally. Good luck with your applications!”
