December 10

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we will be doing an activity to begin reviewing for the Final Exam.  Finals are around the corner and it is imperative that you spend the time for all of your classes reviewing whatever information is pertinent and preparing yourself for the Final Exam in your classes.  Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Agenda:
  1. Create Kahoot Questions
    1. Units of Study/Groups
      1. Unit 1: Google Drive Instruction
        1. NOTE: New Google Apps instruction was taught throughout many of the other units.  Do not overlook that!
      2. Unit 2: 5 Themes of Geography
      3. Unit 3 Latitude and Longitude and Map Making
      4. Unit 4: Columbian Exchange and Biomes
      5. Unit 5: (Mini Unit) Intro Writing Workshop (NOT ON FINAL EXAM)
      6. Unit 6: Culture
      7. Unit 7: Government and Economic Systems 
    2. Directions:
      1. Count off: 1-6
      2. Get in groups
      3. Establish a project leader (someone that will create a Kahoot! Account, turn in the assignment, and transfer the questions to Kahoot!)
      4. Groups must create a minimum of 10 questions (10 pts. EC) and up to 20 questions (20 pts. EC)
      5. On the Google Doc, groups must indicate the group leader and who wrote twhat questions
      6. Due: 45 minutes into class
    3. Resources 
      1. Fall Semester Study Guide 
      2. Kahoot! Extra Credit Master Form
      3. Old PPTs (From the entire year, be sure to look through them to examine notes from all units)
  2. Play Units 1 and 2 Kahoot! in class
Homework:
  1. Study for Finals
  2. Last call on missing assignments (see me no later than tomorrow!)
That's all for today ladies and gentlemen.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel!  We will be on our December break before you know it.  Just stick with it and persevere!
