March 11

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today in class we finished episode 3 of Guns, Germs, and Steel.  After we finished we reviewed the guided questions sheet and then transitioned into discussing Africa.

We started our unit of study on African History by discussing and taking notes on an overview of African history.

Your homework is to begin working with a new digital tool Thinglink!

The directions for this assignment are on the PPT from today's lesson and are duplicated below:
1.  Interact with theThingLink below.  Make sure to watch the video on how to use it.
2.  Sign up for ThingLink - Use invite code UK9N3K and a student account
3.  Make a ThingLink of African Regions
   A.  Northern Africa, Central Africa, South Africa, Eastern Africa, & West Africa
      i.  You must describe the: Climate, resources, historic governments/people/religion, and imperial rulers for each region
      ii.  This can mostly be found in this African History PPT
   B.  Must have:
      i.  Africa Map as base image
      ii.  1 or more link(s) for each of the regions (minimum of 5 total)
      iii.  1 or more video(s) for each of the regions (minimum of 5 total)
