Welcome back! Once again we will be diving into a digital lesson today. This will involve us discussing the Israeli-Palestine Conflict. We will cover half of the notes today and then we will finish on Friday. There is also a little reading activity that you will be doing as well. This is an important topic in the world today and has driven U.S. foreign policy to a great extent in the last 40 years. Let's get down to business!
Objectives:
- Discuss the history of the Arab-Israeli Conflict and complete a graphic organizer
- Read and annotate a document on the origins of the Israeli-Palestine Conflict
- Watch Crash Course: Arab-Israeli Conflict (Answer questions on Graphic Organizer)
- Introduction to Arab-Israeli Conflict Part 1
- "Two Claims to Palestine" Reading and Annotation
- Create a Google Document to complete the boxes on the last two pages of the document
- Finish these boxes before next class (Friday)
